Office Assistant
As a patient, I was attracted to the friendly and warm atmosphere of Dr. Day’s office before I even started working here in 2008. I look forward to every day in the office taking your calls and making sure your visits here are comfortable and enjoyable. I not only make sure the coffee is hot and the office is clean, but I help with other office duties and love creating new contests for patients and parents. My favorite activities include walks and bike rides. I love sharing these things with my husband and daughter and, of course, my dogs.

Business Assistant/ Front Desk Receptionist
I am here to greet you when you visit our office and on the way out as you schedule your next appointment. I will gladly go over your consent forms with you, handle your patient accounts, and answer insurance and billing questions. I feel truly blessed because of how much I love my job. Dr. Way’s office is truly a family and a place where our goal is to make sure everyone feels welcome and at home. Outside of this office I truly value the time I spend with my family. I also run laps with my yellow lab and spend hours in my garden. When I can, I enjoy hiking, snowboarding, fishing, camping, and reading.

Insurance Coordinator
I work hard to make sure all of your questions regarding your contract are answered before your treatment begins and am your go-between person with your insurance company. I make sure things are processed smoothly regarding your benefits and my attention to detail makes sure your account is maintained accurately. I have a big soccer family. All three guys in my life, my husband of 28 years and my two boys, either coach or play soccer, while my two girls and I prefer shopping. We have a second home in Leon Guanajuato, Mexico, and plan to retire there in the future.

Orthodontic Technician
I am here to help you throughout each of your appointments. I am involved in direct patient care taking first impressions during your records appointment, placing and removing orthodontic appliances, changing wires, explaining everything in detail, and guaranteeing that you maintain your incredible results. I admire Dr. Way’s genuine concern for patients and attention to even the smallest details. I remain an active person outside of the office taking part in numerous sports including running, mixed martial arts, basketball, and bowling.

Orthodontic Technician
Call me Mel! I am here to help you through your appointments by assisting Dr. Way directly and indirectly. I change your wires offering you a variety of fun colors, and during impressions I make sure a choice of awesome flavors is available. I take impressions of your teeth, place your wires and give you lots of color choices to make your orthodontic experience fun! I also love hearing about your day and what is going on in your lives. I have learned so much from Dr. Way and appreciate how he takes time to educate his staff and patients every day. There is nothing I value more than family. Spending time with my daughters is my favorite activity.

Treatment Coordinator
I am here to help you during your very important, first appointment in our office. I take photos, scans, and answer any questions you have before you see Dr. Way. After his evaluation, I will discuss your treatment options, go over the costs associated with your treatment, explain our payment plans, and even help you schedule your first follow-up appointments. My reward is knowing how happy and good you feel about yourselves with your new smile. When I am not at the office, my husband, Dough, and I enjoy keeping busy on our ranch and love to spend time with our two daughters and our very special granddaughter.

Head Orthodontic Technician
I oversee all of the office’s surgical cases and am here to help you throughout your orthodontic treatment. I assist Dr. Way with procedures, fit and seat your orthodontic appliances, coordinate with other offices, assist with scheduling and answer all of your questions. Outside the office, I enjoy camping, boating, fishing and rebuilding old cars with my husband. We have a son and a daughter and they are the love of my life.
