Dr. Way grew up in a very small town in southeastern Nebraska (less than a thousand
people!) with the distinct advantage of having all four of his grandparents in the
same community. This was truly a "Norman Rockwell" type of environment.
He would not trade his idyllic childhood for anything.
Dr. Way met his wife at the University of Nebraska in the spring of his junior year
and they were married one week before he started dental school. Cindi and David
have been happily married for nearly 30 years and have two grown sons. Cindi has
her doctorate in education with a specialty in reading.
They both enjoy travel and spending time at their mountain cabin which was built
with the help of family members in the mid-eighties. Because they are both very
committed to their respective professions and spend many hours studying and contributing
to their fields, they find the solitude and beauty of the mountains rejuvenating.
