Meet Our Staff


Amaris Jackson - Orthodontic Technician

Amaris was born and raised in rural Eaton, Colorado. She attended the University of Wyoming and Dental Assistant Training Academy in Niwot. She has been working in the orthodontic field since 1997.

On the weekends, Amaris enjoys spending time with her husband Darick and her son Tucker. In their spare time they like to spend time plowing the fields and baling hay for her father. They own Schneider Trucking and dedicate a lot of time to the business.


Susan Larson - Orthodontic Technician

Susan is a Minnesota native who moved to Colorado in 1986. She attended Windsor High School, Colorado State University and Front Range Community College. She received a Certificate in Dental Assisting. Susan has been in the dental field since 1990 and has worked in orthodontics since 1992. Susan joined Dr. Way’s practice in 1997.

Susan lives in Severance with her husband Randy who has been in the Air Force since 1991. Susan likes shopping, reading, listening to music, and camping with Randy. Susan and Randy have a cat named Sybil and a toy poodle named Jett. They enjoy spending time with family and friends.


Marla Kindsfater - Treatment Coordinator

Marla was born in Davenport, Iowa, but has lived in Fort Collins since 1979. She has been with Dr. Way since the “beginning” in 1989 as an Orthodontic Technician and then as the Treatment Coordinator. Her husband Doug is in the building business. Marla has two daughters. Alicia is an esthetician and works at a local salon and Megan who is in high school.

Marla enjoys helping with 4-H, trying new recipes, as well as spending time with her family camping, hiking, and just being together.


Beth - Orthodontic Technician

Beth is a Colorado native who attended Windsor High School and is currently attending Front Range Community College. She is seeking a Bachelors of Science degree. Beth joined Dr. Way’s practice in April 2003 and enjoys working in the field of dentistry.

She lives in Windsor and finds pleasure in hiking and bicycle riding when she can find free time from work and study.


Kelsi - Orthodontic Technician

Kelsi grew up in Laramie, Wyoming and has one sister and a niece and nephew in Utah. She attended the University of Wyoming for one year and then moved to Fort Collins to attend the Dental Assistant Program at Front Range Community College. She was a patient of Dr. Way’s before starting an internship at his office and was consequently hired to work full time.

She is now the proud owner of a new home in the Fort Collins area. Kelsi enjoys reading and shopping and she loves shoes.


Patti - Orthodontic Technician

Patti was born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah and attended Westminster College and later graduated from Jordan Technical College as a Certified Dental Assistant. Patti moved to Colorado in August of 2003. She joined Dr. Way’s orthodontic team in April 2004.

Patti was just recently married to David and they enjoy playing golf, snowboarding, camping & spending time together.
